June Lake Horse and Mule Drive

Drive Riders - Black and White

Overview

Take a four-day horseback trip from our winter pasture near Bishop, California to our pack station in June Lake, California. Join us while we herd our horses and mules between our winter headquarters to the mountains.

This is a trip for those who would like to experience the life of a cowboy. You will herd about 100 head of horses and mules along the trail to our pack station. This is an active traveling trip for people of all ages and riding levels. Your tents and gear will be transported each day and will be waiting for you as you drive the stock into camp. Don’t miss four days of hospitality, home cooking and the thrill of the roundup.

All trips are full service and include three mountain gourmet meals a day, horse, tack, and camp gear, plus lots of tall stories and singing around the evening campfire. Personal gear and a sleeping bag is all that is needed.

Riders of intermediate or expert only! We match you with horses suited to you, whether you’re a intermediate or an expert. All of our horses are gentle and mountain-trained.
